Kara C. adopted handsome Oscar on April 12, 2006. She sent this photo of Oscar in his WVU hoodie and his story:

Oscar was brought to the Greene County Humane Society by a volunteer. He was a stray, and he showed up in the volunteer’s grandma’s yard, and was playing with her dog. I originally went to look at large dogs, but stepped into the small dog area, so I could better hear what the volunteers were saying. He was so scared, but sweet, and I was instantly in love. I ended up going home with my the first small dog I’ve ever owned, and he’s been perfect for me. He appears to be a Beagle/Dachshund mix, but I suppose we will never know for sure. He is the best dog I have ever known.
