Adoption Costs

Puppies, Six Months and Under

$60.00 adoption fee, $40 spay/neuter deposit, to be returned to you when you bring us proof that the dog is spayed/neutered.

Greene County residents must purchase a dog license for $8.50. Nonresidents do not pay the license fee, but they may have to license in their own county.

Male Or Female Dog, Already Spayed Or Neutered

$85.00 adoption fee includes:

Spaying or neutering
Canine Distemper-Adenovirus-Coroavirus-Parainfluenza-Parvovirus vaccine
De-worming, flea/tick medication, antibiotics; all as needed
Rabies vaccination if dog is three months old or older

Greene County residents must purchase a dog license for $8.50. Nonresidents do not pay the license fee, but they may have to license in their own county.

Maximum total cost = $93.50 for a Greene County resident.

Male Or Female Dog, Not Spayed Or Neutered

$50.00 spay/neuter deposit, to be returned to you when you bring us proof that the dog is spayed/neutered.

$45.00 adoption fee includes:

Canine Distemper-Adenovirus-Coroavirus-Parainfluenza-Parvovirus vaccine
De-worming, flea/tick medication, antibiotics; all as needed
Rabies vaccination if dog is three months old or older

Greene County residents must purchase a dog license for $8.50.

Maximum total cost = $103.50 for a Greene County resident. Nonresidents do not pay the license fee, but they may have to license in their own county.

After you show us proof of spay/neuter, we refund $50.00 and your maximum total cost = $51.50 for a Greene County resident.

Male or Female Purebreed Dog

$100 adoption fee.

Greene County residents must purchase a dog license for $6.50.

Maximum total cost = $108.50 for a Greene County resident.

Male or Female Cat or Kitten, Already Spayed or Neutered

$60.00 adoption fee includes:

Spaying or neutering
Feline Leukemia/Rhinotracheitis/Calici/Panleukopenia/Chlamydia vaccine
Feline Leukemia test
De-worming, flea/tick and ear mite medication, antibiotics; all as needed
Rabies vaccine if cat is three months old or older

Maximum total cost = $60.00.

Female Cat or Kitten, Not Spayed or Neutered

$35.00 spay/neuter deposit, to be returned to you when you b ring us proof that the cat is spayed/neutered.

$50.00 adoption fee includes:

Feline Leukemia/Rhinotracheitis/Calici/Panleukopenia/Chlamydia vaccine
Feline Leukemia test
De-worming, flea/tick and ear mite medication, antibiotics; all as needed
Rabies vaccine if cat is three months old or older

Maximum cost to take the animal from our shelter = $85.00

After you show us proof of spay/neuter, we refund $35.00 and your maximum total cost = $50.00.

Male Cat or Kitten, Not Spayed or Neutered

$35.00 spay/neuter deposit, to be returned to you when you b ring us proof that the cat is spayed/neutered.

$35.00 adoption fee includes:
